Hello, my name is Melinda - some people call me Mel and close friends call me Dada!

I have a Bachelor of Business (Marketing) degree from RMIT University, Melbourne. With the pressure from parents to complete a degree, I chose to study marketing as I knew that I was interested in the business line. However, my passion lies in the beauty industry because I have grown to enjoy the art of empowering one to feel beautiful. My deep passion in aesthetics grew after developing Rosacea in my early 20s which has taught me to embrace beauty in a new light. They say something always comes out of your struggles. And that is more than true for me as I discovered beauty, confidence & self-acceptance in ways I never thought existed.

So not long after graduating, I took a path less travelled and enrolled myself into beauty school where I completed a Diploma of Beauty Therapist in Melbourne. I have been a certified beauty therapist since 2013.

Of all the beautiful features we possess, I enjoy working on brows the most. They are the closest feature to the windows of our soul. During my younger days, I had brows which I thought was unruly and monobrow-like which made me very self-conscious & insecure. And perhaps just like some of you out there, I started to over-pluck my brows. After a decade of endless trial & error which sometimes led me to no-brows (trust me, I have been through all the brow phases), I discovered the magic of a simple tweak & mastered the art of making my brows look good. And this empowered me with so much confidence.

What I once thought as a job quickly translated into a passion. The reason is you, and all the people connections I get to make. I am so very blessed to have met the kindest clients. It is very rewarding when I am entrusted to give your brows a little care, love and uplifting (because that is all they need!) to empower you to feel your very best. What a difference a couple of hours make!

I have recently upgraded myself to being a new mom to my son, Jacob <3 I love him wayyyy too much! When I am not doing brows, I love to go cycling and do home workouts… and sometimes, catching up on my house chores. English is my first language, but I can speak some Mandarin and Cantonese too. I hope to meet each and every one of you :)
